The image of an old shaman appears before the viewer. The traditional clothing of the Siberian shaman is a special cloak with attributes sewn on it in the form of bells, bronze mirrors, cowry shells, and a headdress — a mask or hat in the form of the head of an animal, bird, or, as in this case, two skulls of giant moose with horns dotted with ancient ornaments. Memories of bygone eras, knowledge of the past and the future, as in a mirror, are reflected in the face-mask of the shaman, turning it into a symbol of immortality. The sculptor sculpts an image so clear that it is as if we "hear" the sounds of throat singing and "see" the ritual dance of the shaman.
