On June 12, 2024, the exhibition "Clairvoyance" opened at the Victor Bronstein Gallery in Irkutsk. The exhibition brought together 16 unique wooden sculptures created by the master from wood, a material that has become a new direction in the artist's work.
Each of the presented works resembles masks embodying images of Buryat ongons— traditional masks used in ritual rituals. It was these ancient symbols that became a source of inspiration for the master, who decided to turn to new material after getting acquainted with a small wooden moose head in the Irkutsk museum a few years ago.
According to the sculptor, the exhibition creates a feeling of gradual immersion of the viewer into the atmosphere of mystery and mysticism, which perfectly reflects the name of the project — "Clairvoyance".
"Working with wood is incredibly difficult, especially considering the scale of the works, but Dashi did a brilliant job. His unique style can be felt in every element of the exhibition." – Marina Sedykh, patron of the arts.
The exhibition attracted the attention of a wide audience with its originality and depth of artistic intent. The exhibition could be visited until October 20, 2024 at the Viktor Bronstein Gallery.
